Immune Health
The immune system is a vast network of cells and tissues that protects the body from infections. Its complexity to function optimally requires all our cells and tissues to work synergistically. The way we live today, chronic stress, lack of sleep, and poor diet strains our immune system on a daily basis. The immune system requires a balance – a dysfunctional immune system may fail to recognise an infection, resulting in frequent and more severe infections. On the contrary, an overactive immune system is unable to differentiate pathogens from its own tissue and mounts an inappropriate inflammatory response to our own body.
